Soybeans fell as negative outside markets following the election weighed on the trade. Improving weather in South America continued to be a negative factor.

Grain Comment
Wheat was sharply higher despite negative outside markets. Concerns about crops in Australia & Argentina & quality concerns in Europe provided additional support.

Corn was mixed with stronger wheat values providing some support. Increased ethanol production & a smaller production projection for Argentina were also supportive.

Rice remained under pressure with little or no change in underlying fundamentals. Upside is being limited by negative outside markets & large world supplies.

Cattle futures were sharply lower as declining stock markets weighed on trade.

Hogs
Peoria: were     steady   at   50.00   to   52.00

Hogs Comment
Hogs got a big boost from decking slaughter weights which suggests marketings are ahead of schedule. That suggests we could see a seasonal drop in supplies.

Market activity is moderate to at times active. In production areas, live supplies are moderate at mixed, but mostly desirable weights.
