Soybean Comment
Soybeans were the downside leader as the markets turned negative pretty much across the board today. A negative employment report sparked the sell off today. Net export sales improved 57% from the prior week, but new crop sales were a disappointing 108,500 metric tons. Meal sales came in at only 26,600 metric tons, a marketing year low. Also adding to a negative undertone is the prospect for larger soybean production than first estimated. Delayed/prevented corn, cotton and rice planting could result in more soybean acres than expected. Today's move took the market back below $13, and support begins at $12.79.

Cattle Comment
Cattle futures didn't escape the overall negative undertone in the markets. The chart picture still shows a sideways pattern, with resistance at $120.97 1/2, and support near $118.

Hogs
Peoria: were     steady   at   64.00   to   66.00

Chicago Futures: June up 27 at 10025
  July down 10 at 9827

Hogs Comment
Hog futures ended mixed. Disappointing economic reports both for the US and China, added to the negative undertone. Weaker cash values were also an issue. The market is oversold on technical indicators and could correct at any time. However, July is still trading at a $2 discount to the cash index, and that will provide support.
