LITTLE ROCK — Two college students are now getting work experience as summer interns with Arkansas Farm Bureau.
Tara L. Johnson is the returning Public Relations department
intern. She is the daughter of Thomas and Linda Johnson of Lead Hill
(Boone County). Johnson is a senior at the University of Arkansas,
pursuing a bachelor’s degree in agricultural communications.
“I had an incredible experience last summer and I was
fortunate enough to be able to return. I can’t wait to further broaden
my skills and my understanding of Arkansas agriculture,” Johnson said.
Art Singleton is the intern for Farm Bureau’s Organization
and Member Programs, Governmental Affairs, and the Commodity and
Regulatory Affairs departments. He is the son of Johnny and Elva
Singleton of Monticello (Drew County). Singleton is a junior at
Arkansas State University, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in agriculture
business with a minor in political science.
“I am honored to have gotten this internship. It is a great
opportunity for me to see a whole new perspective of the agriculture
community,” Singleton said.
