Wheat harvest is finally underway in Arkansas.
This time last year, most producers were finishing up their wheat. This year, however, cool and wet weather has put the crop on a more typical schedule.
Initial yields look good, but it’s still early. There is some concern that those early-May freezes might reduce yield potential and test weight.
