The University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture’s LeadAR program is taking applicants for its 17th class, which begins February 2015.
The program is designed to give emerging Arkansas leaders from rural and urban communities the opportunity to broaden their understanding of the economic and social changes affecting Arkansas.
Over two years, program participants will attend 11 three-day seminars in communities across the state, where they will learn from political and business leaders, state and federal agency personnel, academics and others. In addition, the group will take three field trips: one to Washington, D.C., one to another state and one to another country.
Tuition for the program is $3,000. Interested individuals can go to www.uaex.edu/leadar
