Inclement Weather Policy
All employees are encouraged to follow normal office working hours. However there may be times during the winter season when road conditions may become hazardous. For those times Farm Bureau has enacted the following inclement weather policy:
If you report to work by 10:00 a.m. and remain until the office closes, you will be paid for a full eight hour day. If you report to work after 10:00 a.m., you will be paid for the actual hours worked. If you are unable to report to work, you have the option of taking vacation or leave without pay.
Your supervisor may require you to notify them of your intentions.
If the weather is severe enough to close the office a recorded message will be placed on the switchboard by 6:00 a.m. Employees may dial (501) 224-4400 to hear the recorded message. A message will also be placed on the home page of this website.
