The Young Farmers & Ranchers Excellence in Agriculture Award recognizes young farmers and ranchers who actively contribute and grow through their involvement in agriculture and Farm Bureau. The award is designed for an individual or couple who do not have the majority of their income subject to normal production risk. ENTRY DEADLINE IS FEBRUARY 26, 2017.
This book contains official policy positions of the Arkansas Farm Bureau Federation and of the American Farm Bureau Federation. Policies of both organizations originate in the county Farm Bureaus. They undergo a series of evaluations by members, culminating in voting by locally chosen delegates to the state and national conventions.
The Arkansas Farm Bureau Federation, in cooperation with the Rice Council, has conducted a local rice promotion program for many years. The program is designed to stimulate local rice use and to increase awareness in the community about the importance of rice.
