PODCAST: Cuba Consortium

A program of The Howard Baker Forum, the Cuba Consortium is an assembly of companies, nonprofit organizations, investors, academics, congressional leaders and others to track and examine the normalization of relations between the U.S. and Cuba. A two-day Agriculture and Food Roundtable meeting was held March 21-22 at the Winthrop Rockefeller Institute on Petit Jean Mountain. Key policymakers and agriculture industry leaders gathered to discuss what needs to happen to make trade with this important market a reality. In this conversation Scott Campbell, president of The Howard Baker Forum, explains how the Cuba Consortium was conceived and why trade with Cuba is so important.
